David Sharp is a financial professional and former Chair of the Hopkins County Republican Party. David Sharp is a father, a husband and a grandparent. And a disabled army veteran.

David Sharp represents We The People. He is grassroots Kentucky conservative that believes that overspending and big goverment corruption are killing our nation.My opponent a professional politician, taking huge amounts of cash from Washington PACs and corporations, while making millions for himself on the backs of the Kentucky taxpayer.Right now, Washington isn't working for us. David Sharp wants to see the great people of Kentucky be free, successful and happy.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Fiscal responsibility, term limits, anti-corruption, anti-abortion/pro-life, election integrity, 2A rights and protection of law enforcement and military.

Ronald Reagan he was a fiscal conservative Republican pro life and was for the people
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
Honest truthful loyal great negotiator
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
To listen to the people who voted them in to office . Balance the budget we have not had one in 10 years. Take care of are veterans .

None they have a lot 16 percent approval rate all they do is go on tv and blame the other party and spend are money .
Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?
No we don’t ! Career politicians is one of the biggest problems we have .
What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?
Spending, illegal immigrants , the racist radical left dividing the country partisan politics!

I met the family of a veteran who has 3 Purple Hearts did 3 tours in Vietnam that had just passed from cancer he was dishonorable discharged from the army because of anger and alcohol problem he was not allowed a flag at his funeral. He had ptsd

Yes we have to work together to get things done for the American people .
