In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
My name is David Provencher and I've been a Derry resident for almost all of my 40 years. I got tired of saying "someone should do something" and I decided "I'm someone, I can do something." So now I'm trying to help my community in every way I can; right now that's as a member of the Derry Public Library Board of Trustees, and I'm hoping that this November you'll let me help the people of Derry by representing us in Concord.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Fix New Hampshire's broken education system by increasing State funding to Public Schools and ending the exporting of public money to private schools.Make New Hampshire affordable to everyone by increasing the minimum wage and lowering the cost of housing.Keep New Hampshire beautiful by investing in renewable energies, rejecting the construction of new fossil fuel infrastructure, and keeping oversized data centers out of our state.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I want everyone to live happy, healthy lives, free from both government and corporate tyranny.
