In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Born and raised in Toledo, I returned to Toledo after a career in Washington and an overseas posting in Baghdad, Iraq. I am a common-sense, Reagan Republican who held the office of State Representative from 1979-1983 in much the same area as District 43.

I have worked hard to make Toledo a flourishing place to live, and look forward to representing Toledo again in the Ohio General Assembly.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I'll represent you, and make decisions based on common sense, not party politics or ideology.I'm a former prosecutor, and I support our law enforcement officers. Government's first job is public safety.I have served as a State Representative before, and know how the system works. I'll be an effective member of the Ohio House majority, and will get results for Toledo.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Public health, education, and keeping government lean and efficient.
