In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
My name is David Hill, and I'm a husband, father of three boys, attorney, and small business leader in Cody. My wife and I are raising our family here because we believe Wyoming is the best place in America to live, work, and raise children.
Professionally, I practice law, serving individuals, families, and businesses across Wyoming. Outside the courtroom, I believe in giving back to the community. I currently serve as President of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce and volunteer with a number of local organizations dedicated to strengthening our community.
I'm running for the Wyoming House because I believe public service is about listening, working hard, and representing the people—not advancing a political career. If elected, I'll work every day to make the people of House District 50 proud.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I believe decisions should be made as close to the people as possible. I'll fight for limited government, individual liberty, and local control.Public office is about service. I'll listen, be accessible, and work across issues to represent everyone in House District 50 with integrity and professionalism.I want to protect our public lands, strengthen our rural communities, support families and small businesses, and ensure Wyoming remains a place where the next generation can build their lives.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I'm passionate about policies that strengthen Wyoming for the long term. That includes protecting individual liberty, keeping government accountable and local, supporting strong families, defending our constitutional rights, and preserving our public lands for future generations.
I'm also passionate about ensuring our rural communities remain strong by supporting local businesses, expanding economic opportunity, improving access to rural healthcare, and investing in the infrastructure our communities need to thrive. My goal is to help keep Wyoming the kind of place where our children and grandchildren choose to build their futures.
