In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a 50 years old, married man with two teenaged children. I am an attorney, with 25 years of experience, and I have been working for the past 15 years to help people who are struggling with their finances.

I believe that the government's responsibility is to protect the people. That means providing protection from disease, poverty, fraud, pollution, crime, ignorance, and more.

I believe that our current government has focused on the wealthy, at the expense of the people. They lie repeatedly, and have been able to get the news networks and social networks to go along with the lies in an effort to transfer more wealth and control to the top, at the expense of the people.

I want to bring truth and responsibility back to our government. I have drafted proposed laws which will protect the people and hold the government responsible, and enable the United States to regain it's status as the leader of the free world. I believe this starts with empathy and common sense. 7 proposed laws.

1) A tax on ammunition/designation of certain weapons as military (not for civilians).

2) Tying minimum wage to congressional salaries, so the poor do not get left behind

3) Requiring Corporations to list percentage of workforce that is AI

4) Independence for Federal Departments

5)Truth in News

6) Shelters that get people back into society, by giving them an address, training and safety

7) Committee control/selections based on seniority, rather than by the party in the majority.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Trickly Down Economics has been used for the past 50 years to transfer wealth to the top. It shrinks the economy, causes unemployment, and eventually leads to a recession. The only way for the economy to improve is by giving the consumers the funds. A corporation will only be able to sell more if their customers are able to buy more. Therefore, any plan that does not increase the funds to the poor will shrink the economy further. This results in the middle class having to sell their assets (stocks, homes, etc.). When the funds are directed toward the top, it will not increase employment due to the fact that the corporation will have no new customers to sell to. They will use those funds to purchase the assets sold by the middle class. The Trump Administration has attempted to isolate the United States. This has been done economically through the tariffs, diplomatically by ripping up agreements and treaties, and militarily by attacking multiple nations without provocation. The stated goals of each action are designed to push the U.S. further away from the rest of the world. They have stated that their goal is a return to the "Golden" age. This is a reference to a period of time (late 1800's) when the wealthy had massive control, and were no longer forced to answer to the government. This resulted in massive poverty, harmful working conditions, and fewer rights. Giving more wealth to those in power violates the government's duty to the people.Social Contract Theory is the basis for the Declaration of Independence and for the creation of government itself. It stands for the principle that the government exists to protect the people. The people give up certain freedoms in exchange for the government's protection. The Trump Administration has stated that this "protection" is limited to military protection. However, that is a lie, and would leave the people without protection from disease, poverty, hunger, fraud and countless other obstacles that only the government has the resources to protect us from. That protection is why people pay taxes, why they support the government, and why they allow the government to lead. Without this protection, we are not free.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Economic Freedom by investment in the people. People need an income that is sufficient to afford their necessities and allow for their improvement.

Public Health - the government needs to better evaluate what actions and programs reduce illnesses, and promote physical, mental and emotional well being.

Children's access to food - this has been proven to be the biggest indicator of a child's success.

Access to Healthcare - when people are forced to go without healthcare, to afford other necessities it results in a worsening of the health of the nation. It eviscerates people's trust in the government.

Vaccinations - Under the guise of freedom of speech, people have lied about vaccines. They have kept us safe for centuries.
