In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am Chinese and Hawaiian, born and raised in Kaimuki. I graduated from Kalani High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Throughout my career, I have served my community in many ways from teaching math at Kalani and Kaimuki High School, to co-founding and formerly owning 3 private preschools, to now being a condominium association president, local entertainer, and handyman. These experiences have given me a practical understanding of the challenges facing local families, small businesses, and our neighborhoods, and they inspire my commitment to serve my community, District 20, with common-sense leadership.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Serving Our Community with Common Sense:

Government should be focused on practical solutions with every taxpayer dollar spent wisely and transparently.Keeping our neighborhoods safe and well maintained:

Improve infrastructure, support public safety, and address homelessness with practical solutions.Support small businesses by reducing unnecessary government burdens and supporting policies that help them succeed.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I believe government should be accountable to the people it serves and focus on practical, common-sense solutions that improve the quality of life for families while preserving the unique character of our communities.
