In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a conservative America First Republican challenging the incumbent in the June 2022 Republican primary. The incumbent has held the seat for 40 years and is now serving his 21st consecutive term in office. He recently abandoned his fellow Republicans and voted with Democrats on the "infrastructure" and January 6 bills. This is why we need TERM LIMITS. We don't need this sort of entrenched, robotic thinking in Congress. And we certainly don't need RINO swamp creatures who have roamed D.C. for decades and have little life experience outside of politics. We need new blood. We need new thinking. We need Congress members who recognize the dire threat posed by today's radical leftist Democrats. We need strong conservatives who will stand resolutely with the coming Republican majority to protect our sacred Constitution and our fundamental American values and freedom. This is why I want to represent New Jersey's CD4 in the U.S. Congress. I want to FIGHT for my beloved country at this perilous moment!

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I am a POLITICAL OUTSIDER and an articulate advocate of strong America First policies, border security, and freedom over tyranny.I am a passionate defender of our God-given First and Second Amendment rights.I will fight to regain our American energy independence and to defeat fraudulent Climate Alarmism.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

My priorities are:

Border Security

Preserving our Constitutional republic, individual rights, and freedom

Reducing Big Government and exposing its collusion with Big Business

Reigning in Big Business and bolstering Small Business

Protecting our God-given 2nd Amendment rights

Term limits for members of Congress

Eradicating Critical Race Theory

School Choice and Parental Rights

Election Security

Energy Independence and exposing fraudulent Climate Alarmism

Israel

Rooting out and destroying American Marxism

"The Case for Trump" by Victor Davis Hanson

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

I believe honesty, integrity, and inviolate commitment to the United States Constitution and fundamental American values including the veneration of small government and individual liberty are essential for an elected official.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Honesty, integrity, intelligence, wisdom, and the ability to think, write, and speak clearly.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I want to model for our three sons what it means to fight for one's country, even later in life.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

I remember the assassination of Present John F. Kennedy when I was six.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

To the best of my recollection my first job was delivering newspapers by bike before school, which I did for about two years. I worked for the Valley Green Sheet in Los Angeles.

What is your favorite book? Why?

I just finished "Rigged" by Molly Hemingway and found it both fascinating and frightening.

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

Kid Charlemagne by Steely Dan

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

Not necessarily.

I think it's more important to have a breadth of experience and, most importantly, wisdom and good judgment.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

1. Preventing a leftist "fundamental transformation" of our beloved country, society, and culture.

2. Regaining the ability to live together as Americans despite ideological, racial, and other differences.

3. Protecting our international strength and leadership against Communist China.

Do you believe that two years is the right term length for representatives?

Yes.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

I support term limits and have signed the Term Limits Pledge.

Is there a particular representative, past or present, whom you want to model yourself after?

Jim Jordan

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

I believe in reasonable compromise short of violating one's core values and beliefs.

The Constitution says that all bills for raising revenue must originate in the House. What role would this power play in your priorities if elected?

I expect it would play a significant role.
