Dave Bennett is a small business owner, electrical engineer, and Republican nominee for Texas House District 149. With a career in the oil and gas industry focused on critical infrastructure, energy systems, and cybersecurity, Bennett brings a practical, problem-solving approach to public service grounded in real-world experience rather than politics.

As an engineer, Bennett has spent his career identifying challenges, developing solutions, and delivering results. He believes House District 149 deserves the same disciplined, accountable leadership in Austin. His campaign is focused on the issues that matter most to working families, seniors, and small business owners: lowering the cost of living, reducing the burden of property taxes, improving public safety, strengthening infrastructure, supporting quality education, and ensuring reliable energy for Texas.

Bennett is a strong advocate for law enforcement, election integrity, secure borders, and protecting Texas from foreign influence. He also believes government works best when elected officials remain accessible, responsive, and accountable to the people they serve.
