Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Washington is broken and this district needs help! So when elected, Darin has pledged on DAY ONE to submit to committee, a series of bills focused on lifting the lives of Hoosiers, and supporting local communities, while ushering in a new American economy. 1) a bill that can balance the federal budget, and eliminate income taxes. 2) a bill to limit the terms of Congress and the Supreme Court. 3) a bill to create a Medicaid for All system of health care. 4) a bill to reform immigration laws. 5) a bill to end Forever Wars. 6) a bill to reduce Gun Violence. 7) a bill to reform federal education funding laws. 8) a bill to secure American energy independence. 9) a bill to protect social security. 10) a bill to decriminalize cannabis.Service is an honor, not a profession. So when elected, Darin Patrick promises to run a maximum of only two terms, and will tithe 10% of his salary back to Indiana constituents in the form of three annual $5000 scholarships. One for an undergrad, masters, and doctoral student living in the fourth district starting with the high school class of 2027 and continuing until leaving office.
And in order to support life long civic duty, the campaign is developing an elementary age classroom and family journal that bridges Indiana history and civics, with a community directory. The journal pairs storytelling with personal reflection exercises that meet upper elementary and middle grade civics, language arts, and character education standards. The candidate believes dark money and political corruption are destroying America. So Darin has promised to run a grass roots campaign based on small individual donations, and old-fashioned public outreach events. Mr. Griesey has been embarking on a daily listening tour throughout the fourth district, hearing the concerns of constituents, and crafting solutions to their problems.
Transparency is crucial to the campaign. For these reasons, the candidate proposed an initial platform and pledge available for public review, reflecting Mr. Griesey’s belief in open governance and public accountability. Lastly, on behalf of the environment, Darin is currently kayaking the district waterways doing wildlife and water quality assessment.
