In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m a lifelong resident of Northwest Oregon, a small business owner, and a dedicated advocate for our community. Having been raised in House District 31, I bring decades of experience and a deep commitment to serving the people of Columbia, Multnomah, and Washington Counties.

I was honored to be sworn into office at the start of the 2025 legislative session. Since then, I’ve focused on tackling Oregon’s housing crisis, strengthening public safety, and expanding economic opportunities for working families. As a Realtor and landowner, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges Oregonians face when it comes to housing and land-use policies—and I’m committed to finding real, practical solutions.

During the 2025 Legislative Session, I served on several key committees:

House Interim Behavioral Health Committee, where I serve as Co-Vice Chair

House Committee on Climate, Energy, and Environment

House Committee on Housing and Homelessness

Joint Committee on Addiction and Community Safety Response

Joint Committee on Legislative Information Management and Technology

I also currently serve on the Joint Task Force on Regional Behavioral Health Accountability, working to improve Oregon’s mental health and addiction response systems.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Oregon doesn’t have a revenue problem — it has a spending problem. Time and again, working families are being asked to pay more, while the government refuses to do the hard work of setting real priorities.

This session, I spoke out forcefully against House Bill 2025, a transportation package that would have raised the gas tax by 55 cents per gallon and piled on new taxes and fees — all without fixing the deep dysfunction at ODOT. That’s not responsible budgeting. That’s treating Oregonians like a piggy bank.

I’ve also stood strong to protect your Kicker refund — because that’s your money, not Salem’s. I will continue fighting for zero-based budgeting, opposing unnecessary tax hikes, and protecting the paychecks of everyday Oregonians.Families deserve to feel safe in their homes and communities. I believe in supporting law enforcement, holding criminals accountable, and ensuring our justice system works for victims — not against them.

I’ve worked to push back on policies that weaken public safety and have supported efforts to address addiction and behavioral health in a way that actually gets results. Oregon needs solutions that are tough, compassionate, and effective — not policies that continue to fail our communities. As a wife, mother, and small business owner, I understand the real challenges families are facing — from rising costs to housing shortages to navigating an economy that feels increasingly out of reach.

I’m focused on expanding economic opportunities, addressing Oregon’s housing crisis with practical solutions, and supporting local businesses that keep our communities strong. I will always show up, listen, and fight for the people of House District 31 — because this community is my home, and your voice deserves to be heard in Salem.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I’m passionate about policies that directly impact Oregon families. That starts with restoring public safety so communities feel secure and supported. I’m also focused on fixing our housing crisis—bringing practical solutions that make homeownership more attainable. As a Realtor and landowner, I’ve seen these challenges firsthand.

I care deeply about improving behavioral health and addiction recovery, ensuring people have access to real treatment and long-term support. And I’m committed to responsible budgeting—protecting taxpayers and making government live within its means.

Everything I do comes back to strengthening families, supporting local communities, and helping Oregon thrive.
