In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m running for office again because Minnesota needs leaders who focus on results, not politics. I believe government should be accountable to the people it serves, taxpayer dollars should be protected, and families deserve a state that is affordable, safe, and working for them. Over the last several years, I’ve worked to stop fraud, strengthen oversight, improve healthcare access, support our schools and communities, and build bipartisan solutions where possible. There is still more work to do, and I’m running to continue fighting for accountable government, economic opportunity, and a Minnesota that earns back the trust of its citizens.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
The most pressing healthcare issues today are affordability, access, workforce shortages, and the long-term sustainability of our healthcare system. We must ensure providers are adequately funded to care for patients, particularly those relying on public programs, while addressing rising costs that burden families and employers. At the same time, we need to strengthen the healthcare workforce, expand access to mental health services, and make sure healthcare policies are evaluated based on outcomes, cost, and their impact on patients and providers. The goal should be a healthcare system that is accessible, affordable, sustainable, and accountable to the people it serves.Minnesotans deserve a government that is accountable, transparent, and responsible with taxpayer dollars. Before government asks taxpayers for more money, it must prove it can manage existing resources responsibly. My plan focuses on preventing fraud before it happens through stronger oversight, modern fraud detection tools, regular audits, and increased transparency. Agencies must be held accountable for protecting public funds, correcting failures, and delivering measurable results. I also support stronger whistleblower protections and aggressive recovery of taxpayer dollars lost to fraud. We cannot lower the cost of government or rebuild trust until we end waste, fraud, and abuse. Government should answer to the people it serves.Minnesota families are facing rising costs for housing, childcare, healthcare, energy, and everyday necessities. Making our state more affordable starts with responsible government that spends wisely, prevents fraud, and focuses on results. We need to expand housing options, support quality and affordable childcare, address the drivers of rising healthcare costs, and create an economic environment where businesses can grow and create good-paying jobs. Strong schools and workforce training programs are also essential to preparing the next generation for success. By promoting accountability, expanding opportunity, and supporting working families, we can lower the cost of living, raise the quality of life, and make MN stronger.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about public policies that strengthen families, improve educational outcomes, promote affordability, and restore trust in government. I believe students succeed when childcare is affordable, classrooms are prioritized, teachers are empowered, and families are engaged. I am committed to protecting taxpayer dollars through stronger oversight, transparency, and fraud prevention because accountable government is essential to public trust. I also focus on lowering the cost of living by expanding opportunity, supporting small businesses, increasing housing and childcare options, and ensuring government policies help—not hinder—working families. My approach is centered on practical solutions that improve lives.
