In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
My name is Daniel Walls and I'm running to become WV District 95's next Delegate. My background has been working in factories and trucking terminals in the area, union and non-union. I have the same problems and concerns that the other residents of District 95 have: the rising cost of living and increasing taxes. I was born and raised in West Virginia, this is my home. I understand the needs and concerns of working West Virginians in the local area because I'm one of them.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
My core issues are opposing government-backed data centers and eliminating the West Virginia fuel tax on gasoline and diesel.I am a factory worker, not a politician. As an independent candidate, I will work with Delegates from any party if what they propose is right for the working people of District 95.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about stopping state government support for data center projects without local consultation or approval. I am also passionate about reducing the taxes for working people as much as possible.
