In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I've been married to Francine for 37 years. We have two sons, also married, and two grandchildren. I've been in construction for over 40 years, and recently retired from the Carpenters Union after 30 years. I enjoy live music shows, riding my E-bike, and visiting my grandkids with Francine.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Every elected official should not be looking at today or tomorrow. We need to be looking at how our decisions today will affect our kids and grandkids in the coming years.Affordability is a huge issue for most people. It may be a difficult issue to fix at the State level, but we should be working together to see what can be done. Especially for those on a fixed income. The working class is what is keeping this country together, but it's shrinking. Some of the things we can do in NH are:

Raise the minimum wage. NH uses the federal rate of $7.25/HR, which hasn't been raised since 2009.

Help with child care.

Work with health insurance and drug companies to offer better services and lower premiums.

Raise unemployment benefits percentages to better align with cost of living increases and earnings.

Level off, or possibly lower, property taxes, by stopping the downshifting of costs that the State should be responsible for, especially in public education,

just to name a few.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I'm personally passionate about workers' rights. Safe working conditions, misclassification, adhering to laws about when to be paid, overtime pay, etc. With many people living paycheck to paycheck, these things are very important.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

I've been endorsed by the Carpenters Union, unions within the Building Trades, and unions within the AFL-CIO.
