Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Culture warriors in all offices of the state government have, with mixed success, created laws to deny Floridians equal protection by and from the law. This ideological tool of fear and division has destroyed communities the state over and built a culture of scarcity and fear. It is my goal to build a culture of abundance and connection. I will work towards a future where all people can be happy, healthy, and wealthy; where all have equal and fair protection before the laws and codes of the state.

It is my goal that no one should have to fear state repression, their neighbors, or for the future of their children.

It is time to end the culture war and remember we are Floridian’s first, we can come together as neighbors and heal the divide.I believe that whatever level of government can completely encompass a problem should be the level of government that solves it. Citizens should be able to address the decisionmakers impacting them directly as much as possible, as easily as possible. Government power moved to Tallahassee disenfranchises Floridians and harms them.

I will work towards protection county and city home rule at the state level.

I will, wherever possible, return powers supposed by the state of Florida and return them to the local governments they were stripped from.Central Brevard has a horrible problem with disappearing hospitals.

Because of my career, I was involved with the closing of Rockledge Regional Medical Center, and the soon to be Cape Canaveral Hospital closing.

I have seen this directly impact my friends, family, and community as access to hospital beds and specialist doctors dries up.

The hospital being built on Merritt Island is woefully small when compared to the need. I will work with the state Agency for Healthcare Administration, private healthcare providers, and local government to shorten the process of getting more hospitals and ER facilities built.

This issue is not about blame, it is about fixing the problem as quickly as possible to stop harm.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Personally I am deeply concerned about the environment and climate change. I have spoken at length with both sides of the aisle about this issue and everyone seems to agree on one thing- we don't have enough access to good data!

I want to build a data visualization tool that will let individuals and policy makers see the width and breadth of the issue.

My future children deserve a river they can swim in, beaches they can surf at, and forests they can explore without dying of heat stroke.

I will do my best to save our state from ignorance when it comes to climate change and pollution.
