Daniel Bilzerian (Republican Party) (also known as Dan) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Florida's 6th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary on August 18, 2026.

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a U.S. Navy veteran, businessman, and a complete outsider to the political establishment. Born in Tampa, I joined the Navy directly out of high school, serving eight years active duty and reserve before receiving an honorable discharge. As a veteran who has lost close friends, I understand the real, human cost of endless foreign conflicts.

Following my military service, I studied business at the University of Florida before spending twelve years playing poker professionally at the highest stakes in the world. I later transitioned into the business and digital spaces, building a global social media platform of over 60 million followers and founding Ignite International Brands, a publicly traded company that has achieved over half a billion dollars in sales.

I am not running to build a political career or repeat party talking points. I am stepping up because I am tired of watching our country squander American tax dollars overseas while citizens struggle at home. My campaign is built on an authentic, unbought commitment to a true America First platform: securing our borders, crushing government bloat, and permanently ending foreign money's influence over American politics.

Abolish the ATF, IRS, and Federal Reserve

I want to dismantle the Fed, get rid of the IRS, and kill the ATF. Shrink the federal government down to size so it stops choking Americans and stealing our money.America First – No More Foreign Aid

End all foreign aid. Stop sending hundreds of billions to Israel, Ukraine, or anywhere else. Every dollar should go to fixing America, not buying influence for other countries.No More Endless Foreign Wars

Stop using American blood and money to fight wars that don’t protect the United States. Strong national defense, yes. Playing world police, no. Bring our focus home.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am focused on non-interventionist foreign policy, ending foreign lobbying influence, and absolute border security.

As a Navy veteran, I want to end endless foreign wars and stop sending billions of American tax dollars overseas while citizens struggle at home. Our wealth belongs in America.

I am fully committed to removing the corrupting influence of foreign money and special interest groups like AIPAC from our legislative process. Politicians must answer strictly to American citizens, not international interests.

Finally, we must secure our borders to protect our sovereignty and aggressively slash government bloat to restore financial accountability for working-class families.
