Solutions not talkPeople over party I am a Republican but will honor the decisions of the majority whether I agree with it or not. I believe public officials should give their opinion explain why they believe that, and then respect the decisions of the voters I am asking for you to hire me as your congressman not to be anointed as some kind of monarchI will not overrule the voters I will explain my reasons why I believe something to be the best solution but will accept the decision of the voters even if I disagree
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I want to and have focused heavily on the economy and your standard of living
Campaign websiteNicholson's campaign website stated the following:MissionMy mission is to help restore a sense of stability, continuity, and traditional American values within our government. I believe that the United States functions best when its leaders are deeply connected to the history, culture, and lived experiences of the people they represent.VisionMy vision is a government that reflects the customs, expectations, and shared identity of the American public, rather than adopting cultural or social frameworks that many citizens feel are unfamiliar or inconsistent with long‑standing national norms. I am committed to advocating for policies that protect privacy, uphold community standards, and ensure that decisions affecting American families are grounded in the values and traditions that have shaped this country. My focus is on strengthening trust in government, preserving individual rights, and ensuring that every citizen feels respected and represented.Issues & PrioritiesEconomy & InflationFamilies in New Hampshire are being squeezed by rising costs. I will support policies that lower inflation, reduce wasteful spending, and strengthen small businesses — the backbone of our state.Public SafetyEvery community deserves to feel safe. I support strong law enforcement, better resources for first responders, and policies that keep dangerous criminals off our streets.Border SecurityA secure border is essential to national security. I support enforcing existing laws, improving border technology, and stopping the flow of illegal drugs into New Hampshire.EducationParents deserve a voice in their children’s education. I support transparency, high standards, and expanding opportunities so every student can succeed.VeteransNew Hampshire has a proud tradition of service. I will fight to ensure our veterans receive the care, respect, and benefits they earned.Meet DanI’m running for Congress because New Hampshire deserves leadership that shows up, listens, and gets results. I’ve lived the same challenges our families face — rising costs, a strained economy, and a government that too often feels disconnected from the people it serves. I believe in accountability, transparency, and practical solutions that protect our freedoms and strengthen our communities. In the current Congress, roughly 20 members were both born and raised in foreign countries. While the Constitution allows this, it raises concerns for me about whether every member fully understands the lived experiences, values, and priorities of American communities. I believe New Hampshire deserves representation that is deeply rooted in our state and firmly grounded in the American experience.— Dan Nicholson's campaign website (September 4, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
