McQueen earned a bachelor's degree in professional aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a master's degree in computer information systems from Boston University. His career experience includes working as a senior electrical engineer with Sikorsky Aircraft, a rescue swimmer with the Navy, a lead engineer with Air Force One, and for Raytheon, United Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and General Dynamics.[1][2][3]
