Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am Dr. Dale Shelton Deas, Jr., MD, an Alabama-born cardiac surgeon, biomedical engineer, and whistleblower running for U.S. Senate as a Republican. I practiced heart surgery in Atlanta, GA from 2018 to 2025, training for seven years to save lives. I am a Reagan conservative with Tea Party values, and I am the only doctor and only candidate in this race who accepts zero PAC money and zero money from special interests. I have spent years exposing corruption in healthcare, energy, and finance, and I bring that same fearless commitment to the U.S. Senate. Alabama doesn't need another politician. Alabama needs a doctor willing to cut corruption out like a cancer.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Alabama needs a doctor in the U.S. Senate. I am the only physician in this race, a cardiac surgeon with a decade of experience saving lives and fighting for patients against broken systems. Medicine taught me to diagnose problems, cut out what is killing the patient, and do it without flinching. Washington is sick with corruption, and I have the skills, the courage, and the record to fix it. I accept zero PAC money and zero special interest money because I answer to Alabama families, not to lobbyists and not to the political establishment that has failed this state for too long.I am a proven whistleblower who has already fought corruption and won. While other candidates talk about draining the swamp, I have filed formal disclosures with the SEC and federal regulators, exposing fraud in healthcare institutions, the Alabama Power monopoly, and financial misconduct that harms everyday Alabamians. I was terminated from Emory Healthcare for speaking the truth, and I kept going anyway. This is not a campaign, it is a continuation of a fight I have already been waging for years. I will bring that same relentless commitment to transparency and accountability to the United States Senate.I am a true America First, Reagan conservative, not a manufactured one. I support true conservative causes, full transparency in government including the complete unredacted release of the Epstein files, secure borders, Second Amendment rights, and restoring integrity to our elections. I have Tea Party values and I have lived them, not as a talking point, but as a way of life. Unlike career politicians who adopt conservative labels at election time, my record, my disclosures, and my willingness to sacrifice my career for the truth to protect patients prove exactly who I am. Alabamians deserve a senator they can actually trust.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am most passionate about healthcare reform, anti-corruption enforcement, and energy policy. America's healthcare system is broken by private equity interests, regulatory capture, and institutional fraud; I have lived it and exposed it firsthand. I am passionate about ending monopolistic utility abuses like Alabama Power's stranglehold on ratepayers. I am deeply committed to government transparency, including full release of the Epstein files. I also care deeply about protecting whistleblowers, reforming the SEC, securing our border, and defending the constitutional rights of every American. These are not abstract issues to me, they are the reason I am running.
