In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a lifelong resident of Claremont and have dedicated my career to serving the community I call home. For the past 38 years, I have worked in emergency medical services as a paramedic, providing care to people during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
For the past 27 years, I have owned and operated Golden Cross Ambulance, where I have focused on delivering reliable, compassionate emergency medical services while building a strong local business. I graduated from Stevens High School and earned an Associate's degree in Business, which has helped me successfully manage my business and better understand the financial responsibilities that come with leadership.
For the past six years, I have been actively involved with the Claremont City Council, working to address the needs of our residents and make thoughtful decisions for our community. In 2024, I was also a candidate for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, continuing my commitment to public service and representing the interests of the people in my community.
I believe giving back to the community is both a privilege and a responsibility. Serving others has been the foundation of my professional and public life, and I remain committed to working hard for the people of Claremont and helping ensure our community remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
1. Fiscal Responsibility
I believe taxpayers deserve responsible stewardship of their tax dollars. I will support balanced budgets, prioritize essential services, eliminate unnecessary spending, and ensure government operates efficiently and transparently.2. Local Control
As a lifelong Claremont resident and a six-year member of the City Council, I believe the people who live and work in our communities are best equipped to make decisions about local issues. I support local control and believe state government should respect the authority of municipalities and avoid unnecessary interference in local decision-making. I will continue to advocate for practical, community-focused leadership that puts local voices first.3. Public Safety and Emergency Services
After 38 years as a paramedic and 27 years as the owner of Golden Cross Ambulance, I understand the importance of investing in public safety. I will advocate for strong support of first responders, emergency medical services, law enforcement, and fire departments to keep our communities safe.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about public policies that strengthen communities through responsible governance. My interests include fiscal policy, where sound budgeting and responsible spending support essential services; local government, which provides responsive leadership; public safety, including police, fire, EMS, and emergency preparedness; and housing and land use, where thoughtful planning promotes safe, sustainable, and affordable communities.
