Constance Menzies graduated from Evan's Adult High School. Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Constance Jewel Menzies, and I am a candidate for the California State Assembly representing District 57. I am a mother, community leader, postal worker, nurse, caregiver, and advocate for working families.

Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of roles dedicated to helping others, including healthcare, education, public service, and community organizations. My experience as a School Site President, Enrichment Leader, Supervisor Aide, and volunteer has given me firsthand insight into the challenges facing California families, students, seniors, and small businesses.

I am running for office because I believe Californians deserve safe communities, affordable living, strong schools, reliable infrastructure, and accountable government. I am committed to listening to residents, working across party lines when possible, and bringing practical, common-sense solutions to Sacramento.

My campaign is focused on improving public safety, addressing the cost of living, expanding opportunities for students and workers, and ensuring that government serves the people effectively and transparently.

Public Safety and Strong Communities

Every family deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood. I support practical solutions that strenghten public safety, support lawenforcement, address, homelessness, compassionately and effectively, and improve the quality of life in our communities.Affordability for Working Families

California families are struggling with high costs for housing, groceries, utlities, and fuel. I will work to reduce unnecessary regulations, promote economic growth, support small businesses, , and advocate for policies that make California more afforable for working families and seniors.Education and Opportunity

Every child deserve access to a quality education and a pathway to success. I support strong schools, parental involement, workforce training, and career opportunities that prepare students for college, skilled trades, and good-paying jobs. Investing in education and workforce development strenghtens our communities and California furture.

I am passionate about strengthening workforce development, supporting small businesses, improving government accountability, ensuring reliable infrastructure, including water, and emergency preparedness. My goal is to promote practical, evidence-oriented policies that help communities thrive and create opportunities for future generations.
