I am a Christian first, Conservative second, Republican third. I am a small business owner with a wonderful wife and seven children. My experience in both public service and private business has provided me with a deep understanding of the need to reduce government intrusion into the lives and businesses of Texans.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

The protection of life, especially unborn life, is the primary issue that got me involved in government and politics. I remain passionate about this area of public policy. Additionally, eliminating burdensome regulations and lowering taxes remains a policy priority for me.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I pray that a better state and better nation will be the legacy I leave for my children and future generations of Texans.

What are your views on financial transparency and government accountability?

Financial transparency and accountability at every single level of government should be a priority for all Texans but especially for our elected officials. During my time in the legislature I have prioritized these principles and will continue to file, support, and vote for legislation that furthers these principles.
