In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Clifton Brown, and I just want everyone to know how much I love America. I promise to be true to the people who signed my petitions and thank all of you for your support. I promise to represent the people of Colorado and America with honor, honesty, and 100% effort. I will be a candidate that will make you proud you voted for me. Sincerely your next 3rd district representative. Thanks again.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

America must realize that neither Democrats nor Republicans will fix the system they have intentionally broken. Both parties are controlled by the same bosses, and they are paid by the rich to keep us fighting amongst ourselves. We have been fooled into believing the battle is left v right. The battle is rich v poor. The system is ruled by money and greed and if we don't change, we will destroy ourselves from the inside. My pledge to America is that I won't take one dime from any corporation or PAC and I will not make one penny above my government salary. Both should be illegal and my vow is to make both the law of the land. If a politician is not happy with 145K annually they have no business representing America.Gerrymandering is undemocratic and it has to stop. All We the People have to do to break this two-party system is put an end to districts. Gerrymandering has exposed Democrats and Republicans as the garbage they truly are. Both parties are willing to betray democracy to stay in power and now it is our job to show up at the polls and vote these crooked bastards out of existence. It's time for America to take out the trash. Both parties have been stinking up America for far too long. Ending districts will end this two-party debauchery. It's time to revolutionize the voting process and make America better than ever. It's time people demand a citizen protection act that will save democracy, help end the corruption and make housing affordable. Every citizen and only citizens should have the right to vote. For all the same reasons only citizens can vote, only citizens should be able to contribute to campaigns. Most importantly only citizens should be able to own real estate. Money management companies are buying up property at alarming rates and if we don't change the system soon even the entire middle-class will be unable to afford homes. If you think housing is expensive now, wait until the super-rich and their corporations corner the real estate market. Go to ruhero.com and read more about why we need to protect the right to own real estate.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I believe that saving the planet is our biggest responsibility as Americans. No country has done more to harm the environment than America. We all rely on the planet for our very lives and is time We the People protect our dear Mother earth. Not just global warming needs to be addressed. Alaska contains one of the largest old growth forests on the planet and is now being threatened by the trump administration and dirty thieves that support him. The life expectancy in America is dropping because of our pollution, plastics and pesticides. There is a reason that many countries refuse to eat food produced in America and its because our food is poison and its time we all go organic.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

Jesse Ventura and Ralph Nader are the two politicians I look up to for their honesty and independent thinking

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

honesty, common-sense, empathy, and intelligence

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Say what you mean and do what you say.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I would like to be remembered as a strong voice against corruption. that stood up for average citizens and made corporate America accountable for their actions.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

dishwasher/prep cook

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

I am a threat to the entire political system and the status quo. I don't expect any of the crooked lying thieving bastards in politics today to agree with any of my policies because my policies are revolutionary and a direct threat to a corrupt system. This country needs to take an honest look at the political process. As long as the two-party system continues to dominate American politics things will never change. We the People know exactly what to expect from Democrats and Republicans and yet we continue to vote for politicians we know are corrupt. They represent different sides of the same coin. As long as we vote for the lesser of two evils we will always get evil results. If we do not break the two-party system America will fail.

What was the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember?

The Kennedy assassination
