Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
IMPROVE AFFORDABILITY
Focus on improving access to healthcare, childcare and attainable housing, and lower taxes for working families.SUPPORT PUBLIC EDUCATION
Give teachers the tools they need, instituting reforms like increased play, decreased testing and expanded reading programs, to better prepare students for college and careers.REFORM STATE GOVERNMENT
Put an end to government overreach, increase transparency and focus on priorities like improving our roads and lowering the cost of living.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Two of my key passions are expanding high quality childcare and making South Carolina more resilient. My work on county council has allowed me to attend trainings and work with experts around the state on both of these issues. When it comes to caring for and educating our youngest children, helping more families work, making SC businesses more successful, caring for our environment, mitigating future disasters and ensuring smart development, I am experienced, passionate, and ready to make a difference at the state house.
