In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m a fifth-generation Alabama farmer, business owner, and lifelong advocate for agriculture. I grew up working on my family’s farm, where I learned firsthand the value of hard work, stewardship, and the importance of protecting the land that feeds our communities and supports our economy.
Professionally, I’ve worked to grow businesses, create jobs, and bring agricultural innovation to more families and communities across our state. Those experiences showed me that Alabama agriculture faces real challenges, from protecting farmland and supporting family farms to creating opportunities for the next generation and strengthening access to Alabama-grown food.
I’m running for Commissioner of Agriculture because I believe Alabama deserves leadership rooted in real agricultural experience and focused on practical results. I want to protect our farmland, support our farmers, expand opportunities for young people entering agriculture, and make it easier for producers and agricultural businesses to succeed.
Public service is an opportunity to give back to the industry and communities that shaped me. I would be honored to earn the trust and support of the people of Alabama.
