Gagnier's campaign website listed the following issues:[4]
Jobs: "Our workforce programs are broken and everyday, thousands of frustrated job hunters are not receiving the support they need. I want to work on retooling workforce development programs to make sure we are providing job support services that empower everyone from first time workers to seniors needing to remain in the workforce."
Economic Growth: "Our district can easily be home to some of the world's most innovative companies. I want to focus on bringing new industries and means of economic opportunity to our district."
Education: "We need to focus on opportunities for all children. This begins with ensuring that our children are equipped with the basic skills to be competitive in today's workforce."
Tech Policy: "Technology policy will be a core part of every issue, whether its jobs, education, access to government resources or economic security. Congress needs leaders who are fluent in technology and can make smart decisions about technology policy."
Consumer Rights: "I want to ensure that we have rights regarding our data. Buying groceries and other essential needs should not put you at risk. We should know how companies are using our data. I want to bring my experience of working on consumer rights issues, such as online privacy, to Washington, D.C. to ensure that smart decisions are being made about your personal data."
