In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m a young person running for office because I’ve seen what 15 years of GOP supermajority rule has done to Alabama; and the big out of state Private Equity firms from up north they are beholden to. I’m running to help make the state legislature representative of the working people and to work for their vets interests at heart and to put Alabama First not some Yankee megacorporation shareholders.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I’m running to protect our rural hospitals, expand health insurance access, and help Alabama’s mothers through Medicaid expansion and a focus on maternal healthcare.I’m running to put more money in the pockets of working folks by cutting sales tax by two percent, abolishing the grocery tax, abolishing income tax on overtime, and on all tips. Instead the out-of-state interests that buy up our timberland and farmland and steal money out of the pockets of working Alabamians through their electrical monopolies they own will be made to pay their fare share.I plan on ending the influence of monopolies like Alabama Power in state government through requiring public rate hearings, and banning utilities from having lobbyists of making campaign donations; thus lowering power bills for the People of Alabama.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I’m personally passionate about labor rights and healthcare, alongside tax policy.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
The SDUSA, and US Term Limits
