In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I've spent my career solving problems, and that's what I want to bring to Harrisburg. Before my current work in healthcare operations, I served as a paramedic. I've seen firsthand what our emergency and healthcare systems ask of the people who hold them together, and how stretched rural communities like ours are when those systems fall short. Since then, I've managed a team overseeing tens of millions in service contracts across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York City. You learn to fix things fast and stand behind the results.
I serve as a Penn Forest Township Supervisor, where I deal daily with the zoning fights, budget pressures, and state mandates that hit local government. I've defended our community's zoning authority in litigation, testified at state hearings, and written a white paper on Municipalities Planning Code reform shared with lawmakers across the state.
I'm also head coach of the Jim Thorpe girls varsity soccer team. Coaching has taught me as much about leadership and accountability as anything in my career. I live in Penn Forest Township with my family. This district is home.
I'm running for State House because government closest to the people governs best. Too many decisions about our land, energy, schools, and emergency services get made by people who've never set foot in Carbon County or had an actual hand in solving them. I want to bring that practical perspective to HD-122.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Government closest to the people governs best. As a municipal official, I've lived what happens when Harrisburg overreaches. I've defended our zoning authority against state preemption, absorbed unfunded mandates, and watched decisions get made by people who've never been to Carbon County. Our communities deserve a representative who understands local government from the inside. I'll work to give municipalities the tools and authority to make decisions for themselves, from land use to energy development, and to modernize the Municipalities Planning Code so local control actually means something.I've spent my career fixing things, first as a paramedic, where I saw up close how stretched our emergency and healthcare systems are, and now in healthcare operations, where I manage teams and service contracts across three states. Both jobs taught the same lesson: find what's broken, fix it, and stand behind the results. I'll bring that mindset to Harrisburg. Less gridlock, more of what actually helps working families: real property tax relief, a balanced budget passed on time, and support for the healthcare and emergency services rural Pennsylvania depends on.I'm not a career politician, I'm a neighbor. I serve this community as a municipal official and through multiple other organizations, and all roles teach the same lesson: show up, do the work, and put people ahead of politics. My opponent has held this seat for sixteen years. It's time for someone still rolling up his sleeves in local government, someone who answers to neighbors, not to Harrisburg. I'm running to bring fresh energy and real accountability to HD-122.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Local control comes first. I've defended our zoning authority as a municipal official and want the Municipal Planning Code modernized so communities can manage their own growth. As a former paramedic, rural healthcare and emergency services are personal, our EMS agencies are running on fumes and the state treats them as an afterthought. I'm equally committed to property tax relief for homeowners and seniors, economic development that brings real jobs here instead of watching our kids leave, easing costs for working families, public safety rooted in supporting local responders, and the fiscal discipline of a balanced budget passed on time.
