Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
School funding is unfair and needs reform. The school funding formula has not been updated since 1993. It is time. Vouchers for private schools should not come from local school funds.Healthcare is a right not a privilege. I support a Badger Care Buy-In option.
I support State funding to help rural EMS.
Elders deserve to age with dignity. I support programs that empower people in their homes - ARDCs, Meals on Wheels and support for care givers.
I support locally owned elder facilities and have voted in support of our Bayfield County nursing home.Madison need to support local decisions determining our land uses, protecting our property rights and protecting our environment. Madison should set minimum standards, not hold back local government from appropriate local decisions on development projects.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about good, honest government that efficiently serves the public. Government is a huge part of our economy and it should be treated as an important tool for driving positive growth in our economy and supporting our citizens.
