In their own words

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I will continue to be a fighter for our conservative values. I fought back against the radical left and passed laws to bring the Ten Commandments and prayer back into classrooms, stop DEI programs, and remove boys from girls' sports. I also fought back against bad nursing homes and passed laws to protect seniors from abuse and neglect. I don’t back down when it comes to protecting Texans and our values.Under the Biden administration, more than ten million unvetted illegal aliens invaded our country, including criminals, gang members, and potential terrorists. It’s critical that we focus on strong enforcement of our immigration laws to restore law, order, and safety to our nation. I authored Texas’ 287(g) immigration enforcement law, supported by President Trump, which requires our Texas sheriffs to enter agreements with ICE to assist in identifying, detaining, and deporting illegal aliens. I’m committed to building upon this to protect our communities and combat mass migration.A high priority of mine is enhancing the permanent property tax relief already accomplished, which helps families stay in their homes and protects household budgets. My focus next session is to continue reducing property taxes while also speeding up the relief of existing measures for homeowners.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

To keep Texas strong, we must protect Texas’ natural resources, promote economic dominance, and ensure Texas remains affordable. As Chairman of the Senate Business and Commerce Committee, my top priority is ensuring our future energy needs so that Texans have reliable and affordable electricity. It’s important that while Texas grows, we don’t lose the rugged individualism that defines our communities. I believe we also must protect our state from those who threaten our Western laws, freedoms, and values. That’s why I remain committed to fighting back against radical Islamic groups who attempt to enforce Sharia law above our laws.

Creating Jobs & Growing the Economy

Excerpt: "As your voice in the Texas Senate, I will continue to seek out waste and mismanagement in our state government, work to balance our state budget, and protect the hard-working citizens of Texas from new taxes or job-killing regulations."

Securing the Border

Excerpt: "Illegal immigration not only disrespects the rule of law, but also tears at the fabric of our society, straining our schools, our jails, and our emergency rooms past the breaking point. While securing our border is primarily an obligation of our federal government, Washington's failure to address this problem has had dramatic consequences for the people of Texas."

Improving Our Children's Schools

Meeting the Challenges of Tomorrow
