Education
For too long, our education system has focused on teaching our children what to think rather than how to think. As Governor, I will make education reform a top priority—starting on day one. My plan focuses on four key pillars: Strong, Spiritual, Smart and Sovereign.
1. Strong
Across the nation, children are living increasingly sedentary lives—from the moment they wake up until bedtime. This trend has a direct impact on their focus, health, IQ’s, test scores and overall academic performance.
Research shows that physical activity early in the day leads to sharper focus, improved test scores, and higher overall well-being. As Governor, I will implement a daily physical fitness program emphasizing large-muscle movement at the start of each school day.
This initiative will:
Boost test scores and classroom engagement
Reduce preventable illnesses, disease and injuries
Support healthy brain chemistry—eliminating reliance on pharmaceuticals
A strong body supports a strong mind, and strong students build a strong future in Texas.
2. Spiritual
Education should not only prepare children for careers—it should prepare them for life. Our schools have focused too much on the external world education while neglecting the inner one. In these modern days, if there are any behavior changes needed, kids are mostly given chemical balancing pharmaceuticals as an option to the problem. Texans know that faith, family and purpose are vital to a fulfilled life.
Our education system should help students develop emotional and spiritual resilience—teaching the values of gratitude, integrity, empathy and compassion. Lessons about healthy relationships, marriage, and family life should be basic and core components of education, helping our children grow into balanced and joyful adults.
When students understand who they are and what they value, they become leaders who strengthen our communities in the future.
3. Smart
True intelligence is not about memorization—it’s about critical thinking and the pursuit of truth. Our current system trains students to repeat facts, not to reason, question, or innovate.
What does a smart person look like? A smart person will be the one on the battlefield who lives and comes back to fight another day, doesn’t matter their equipment or training. A smart person living on the streets will be the one who figures out how to get a meal. A smart person on a sales team will be the highest earner in the company. It’s basic smarts and it isn’t being taught.
We must reform education to emphasize logic, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving. By empowering students to think independently and seek truth, celebrating the kids who think “outside the box”. We will raise a generation capable of innovation, leadership, and resilience in an ever-changing world.
Smart kids don’t just pass tests—they smartly forge the future of the State of Texas.
4. Sovereign
The idea of being smart and thinking for yourself directly leads to the idea of being a sovereign person. Collective thinking, and following the crowd has never been a positive quality or good virtue. But helping our kids go the way they should go with their own unique personal strength is not a one size fits all public education endeavor. It requires internal soul searching that is unique to every person. Going along with the crowd, not only leads to bad decisions at times, but stalls a young person’s ability to explore the universe in the direction they want to.
In Conclusion
Strong people are harder to kill and more useful in general. Spiritual people are harder to deceive. Smart people who know how to think will grow in their God-given, unique direction leading to a Sovereign lifestyle.
Together, we will build an education system that prepares the next generation to make Texas the strongest, smartest state in America.
Taxes
A fair and historic tax plan!
It’s time to end the outdated property taxation system and replace it with a fairer, more transparent one. Announcing a sales tax on non-essential goods.
This approach empowers Texans to take control of their financial futures. Those who choose to spend more will contribute more—while hardworking families and individuals facing tough times will benefit from reduced burdens on their homes and livelihoods.
This plan strengthens the sovereignty and privacy of every Texan. Property ownership should represent freedom, not government intrusion. If you want to own multiple properties, build barns, or store ATVs and trailers on your land, you should have the right to do so without reporting every detail to the government.
Under my leadership, government confiscation of property will end.
Eliminating county property tax offices will streamline our government, saving taxpayers millions of dollars annually. The reduction in unnecessary bureaucracy will immediately shrink the size of government and lower the overall tax burden for all Texans.
For decades, politicians—especially Republicans—have campaigned on promises to eliminate property taxes. Despite holding power in the House, Senate, and Governor’s office for nearly 30 years, they have failed to deliver.
I will deliver on that promise—on day one
Border Security
The border Texas shares with Mexico is not just a state concern—it’s a national security issue for the entire United States. Protecting it is essential to both our national safety and our state sovereignty simultaneously. As an ex-Navy SEAL and one who knows what it’s like to be behind a gun, I’m prepared to make update and instill practices to keep Texas safe for generations to come
While the federal government has a duty to secure America’s borders, Texas must be ready and able to defend itself—with or without federal assistance and stand on its own two feet.
As Governor, I will ensure that Texas builds, maintains and controls a secure border that protects our people and preserves our independence. We will make Texas self-sufficient, strong and capable of defending our land and our citizens without relying on outside help. Any improvements we make will be built to last for decades, keeping Texas impenetrable and secure for generations.
My border plan will keep Texans safe—with or without the involvement of the U.S. military.
This plan includes:
A strong, fortified border with modern infrastructure and technology
Advanced surveillance systems to monitor and respond to threats in real time
Empowering the Texas National Guard by removing restrictive policies that prevent them from doing their job effectively
We must give our defenders the authority, training and tools they need to combat the growing threats from drug cartels and organized criminal networks operating from Mexico and beyond. You can’t bring a knife to a gunfight—and Texas won’t. Yet, that is what we currently do.
As Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Texas National Guard, ex-Navy SEAL and someone who knows what it’s like to be behind a gun, I’m prepared to use my training to keep Texas safe for generations to come. These measures will not be temporary—they will be lasting rules of engagement that protect and preserve our safety, our freedom and our way of life. I know that sometimes it takes a good offense to made a good defense.
Texas will stand strong, sovereign and secure—for generations to come.
Law and Order
From top to bottom and east to west, Texas is full of good, hardworking people—people with strong morals, solid values, and a genuine respect for one another. Texans are, by nature, hospitable, peaceful and law-abiding.
For the most part, our state does not face a widespread crime problem. The real challenge lies in how our law enforcement officers are tasked and utilized. Too often, police are burdened with enforcing excessive codes, regulations, and policies—rather than focusing on their true purpose: keeping the peace.
It’s time to restore the purpose of policing in Texas, to Texas.
As Governor, I will scale back the number of minor policies and regulatory duties imposed on local law enforcement. Our peace officers and resources should be focused on protecting communities, preventing real crime, and keeping Texas safe—not acting as tax collectors or code enforcers for local bureaucrats.
The people of Texas don’t need to be micromanaged. We are a moral, responsible and free people—and our government should treat us that way.
Practical Reform: Freedom to Travel
Consider something as simple as vehicle registration. Years ago, Texans registered their vehicles once, and that was enough. The registration was used to show ownership. Then it became every two years. Now, it’s every single year—with rising fees. Where does it end?
Today, too many Texans are stopped and fined for expired tags or registration. This practice doesn’t make our communities safer—it infringes on our constitutional right to life, liberty, freedom and the explicit right to free travel. Our roads shouldn’t be checkpoints for taxes, fees or revenue collection.
Under my administration, Texas will move away from funding the government through car registration fees and shift instead to sales taxes on non-essential items, ensuring that those who spend more contribute more—while everyday Texans keep more of their hard-earned money.
Justice and Accountability
While I will refocus policing on peacekeeping and protecting citizens, I also believe in firm and visible accountability for those who commit serious crimes.
As Governor, I will work to strengthen the death penalty for the most heinous offenders without delay. Justice should be swift, public and unambiguous—not delayed for years behind closed doors.
As the bible says: “When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong.” -Ecclesiastes 8:11-13
Our younger generations must see that crime has consequences. Punishment should serve not only justice but also deterrence. When justice is visible, it teaches respect for the law and reinforces the values that make Texas strong.
As Governor, I am willing to make the hard decisions to ensure that Texas remains a safe, just, and sovereign state where good people can live safe and free.
