Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Chad Gleissl is a Police Sergeant in York County. He attended college for business before beginning his career in law enforcement. Chad specializes in crime prevention and community policing, working to build stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
He has been recognized internationally for his innovative work in community policing by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA). In 2022, Chad was also awarded his department’s Medal of Valor the highest award issued.

Fighting our affordability crisis and making life easier for taxpayers. Standing up for workers by raising the minimum wage and protecting union jobs.Supporting small businesses across our district and fighting to protect our local shops and manufacturing jobs.Public safety means ensuring our fire departments, EMS, police, and mental health professionals have the tools, training, and effective policies they need to do their jobs and protect our communities.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Public safety is a top priority of Chad's he will use his experience as a Police Officer. We must invest in our fire departments, EMS, law enforcement, and mental health professionals giving them the tools, training, and smart policies they need to keep our communities safe.
