Campaign websiteAskar's campaign website stated the following:AmericaPreserving our American way of life and our God-given liberties is paramount.Lowering the everyday cost of living should be at the top of everyone’s list.As a U.S. Marine Veteran, Casey understand that protecting and supporting the benefits of our brave men and women who have put on the uniform to protect our great nation is essential.EconomyWe are all feeling the pressure at the grocery store and at the gas pump.Tackling the rising cost of eggs, milk, and gas is hist top priority. In Congress, Casey will work with leadership to help slash overburdening taxes and regulations that are adding to the affordability crisis.Election integrityMandatory Real ID and immigration status verification to vote to protect our elections, so that only American citizens can vote. Casey will work to prevent foreign actors and adversaries like China and Russia from compromising our election system.Government AccountabilityAs a business leader and job creator, Casey has invested in people, not stocks. One of Casey’s priorities is to ban members of Congress from stock trading, and expose and eliminate the culture of corruption within he federal government, including in Congress, that has existed for decades. We need full transparency in Congress. Casey will help deliver that.Foreign PolicyThe U.S. must continue to push back against the Communist Chinese aggression in the Western Hemisphere and against our American interests around the world.‍We must continue to fund and modernize our great military, and press ahead with President Trump’s America First policy of “peace through strength.” In addition, we must continue to work in tandem with our great friends and allies around the world to defend our shared values and interests, and protect Democracy.EnergyWe must unleash U.S. domestic energy production to power our economy and national security in order to reduce our reliance on foreign oil. Let’s expand oil, natural gas, nuclear, and clean coal production.EducationEducation is the great equalizer. Because our children are the future of our republic, we must protect and defend parental rights in education. We must educate our children and not allow them to be indoctrinated by un-American, divisive, and socialist education reforms.Parents should ultimately decide how to educate their children.Teaching civics in school should be required.Biological boys do not belong in girl’s bathrooms.Immigration/Law EnforcementWe must continue to deport criminal illegal aliens and secure our borders, and all Points of Entry into the U.S.The illegal drug trade tied to illegal immigration has killed tens of thousands of Americans and legal residents, regardless of political affiliation.Merit-based America First immigration policy needs to be kept in place. Our law enforcement officers need to be protected from predatory targeting by Leftists, activist judges, and prosecutors.Eliminating illegal immigration and the crime it brings is a bipartisan endeavor.HealthcareEnd Obamacare once and for all, and replace it with a vehicle that works for all Americans.By cracking down on government waste and fraud, we will be able to preserve Medicaid and Medicare for generations to come.Protecting the current healthcare policies and initiatives are paramount to better mental and physical healthcare. We must continue to work to lower drug and healthcare insurance costs. All options to do so must be on the table.— Casey Askar's campaign website (September 14, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source. Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Casey Askar is a successful self-made businessman and U.S. Marine running to represent Southwest Florida in Congress.

Askar's life story embodies the American Dream. On his 7th birthday, Casey and his parents came to America, fleeing religious persecution in Iraq, seeking safety, opportunity, and above all - freedom. At 18, Casey knew he had to give back to the country that gave him so much. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps.

In the years that followed, Casey would go on to start, buy, build, and run a massive portfolio of businesses from the ground up. Today, Askar employs thousands of people across the country and is one of the largest franchisees for various multi-national brands, such as Church's Chicken and Dunkin' Donuts.

Casey is a dedicated husband and proud father of six children, all active parishioners at St. Ann's Church in Naples. The Askar family proudly supports his children's schools, including the University of Miami, the Community School of Naples, and St. Ann Catholic School. Casey, a veteran of the Marines, also contributed to Ave Maria, in support of the Veteran Memorial Law Library. The family is also involved in and supports the Golisano Naples Children's Museum.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Like President Trump, I'm not a career politician. Americans are sick and tired of career legislators that enrich themselves instead of serving the people who elected them. That's why I'm a strong believer in federal term limits. As a self-made businessman, I know what it's like to pull yourself up from your bootstraps and start with nothing in your pockets. I will always pursue policies that stimulate the economy, create greater opportunities for working men and women, and allow Americans to keep more money in their pocket.I take the security of our country seriously as a former Marine. As a Congressman, I will protect our 2nd Amendment rights, defend our country against foreign threats such as China, and work with President Trump to secure our border.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am very passionate about helping our country get back on track with sound fiscal policy and a focus on economic development. I employ thousands of Americans across the country, which gives me a unique perspective on how to help our country's business owners get back on their feet after the unprecedented coronavirus crisis.
