In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
America is in the middle of a healthcare crisis, and I've seen it firsthand — as a nurse, as a Navy veteran, College Professor and as a small business owner trying to make care affordable for real families. Here's what 20+ years at the bedside taught me: healthy people build a healthy economy, not the other way around. A nation can't out-earn a broken healthcare system. When people are sick, uninsured, or priced out of care, they can't work, can't build businesses, and can't raise strong families — and no amount of economic growth fixes that from the outside in.
That's why affordability isn't a talking point for me — it's the mission. Healthcare, housing, groceries, childcare: the essentials families depend on have to be within reach again. We don't fix that with more government promises. We fix it by putting people who've actually done the work — nurses, veterans, small business owners — into the rooms where these decisions get made. It's time we come together, cut through the politics, and make this work for everyday Americans. I love this country and my fellow Americans.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Nobody else in this race has changed a bedpan, coded a patient, or watched short-staffing almost cost someone their life. That’s not a credential line, it’s a gut-level trust signal: she’s been in the room when things get real. Voters don’t remember résumés, they remember “she’s actually done the job.”Affordability, especially the essentials of life for working families, especially single mothers, fathers and grandparents. Childcare and school aftercare is a crisis.I already fought this exact fight and got 44.9%of the vote against Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Not a first-timer, not untested. I went up against an entrenched incumbent and nearly won — in a district that wasn’t even drawn favorably yet. That is a serious race and I am the best candidate that will win!
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Health care crises, nursing home staffing ration, protecting social security and affordability for families. Safety is a concern in District #20.

Campaign website
Spalding's campaign website stated the following:
Election Integrity
Free and fair elections are the foundation upon which America has been built. We need mandatory voter identification. Ensure elections do not fall under liberal power grab to federalize election laws. Routine audits to ensure compliance. Currency-grade ballots that cannot be forged. Abolish all electronic vote-counting or tabulation machines with internet access.
Jobs & Economy
We must continue to cut taxes and needless regulation to encourage economic growth and help working people and their families. Biden’s plan includes 30 tax hikes that would eliminate 165,000 jobs and shrink wages by 0.8%.
Border Security
Finish The Wall. Stop the inflow of illegal immigrants. End Sanctuary Cities. Enforce mandatory E-Verify, including penalties. Those with work visas must pay taxes on wages earned. Immediate deportation for anyone engaging in criminal acts. ICE removal of all criminals and gang members (jail for anyone that recrosses the US border). Removal of all persons overstaying their Visa authorization.
Government Spending
We need to bring manufacturing back to America. Increase wages and products. More tax savings for debt paydown. Utilize our great supply of oil and gas to lower gas prices. Mining & processing our vast mineral reserves.
National Defense
Focus on protecting our homeland first and foremost. As a Navy veteran, ensuring that the military is trained and equipped to combat threats from enemies at home and abroad is a must. Unfortunately, the military has been undermined by political leaders who do not understand what it is like to put your life on the line to serve your country.
Law & Order
Support effective law enforcement. Provide resources to equip and train our men and women in blue. Eliminate government funding of Sanctuary cities. No Federal Government takeover of local law enforcement. Stop gangs, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.
Healthcare
We need more competition to drive down the cost of healthcare. More effective treatments. Eliminate Obamacare. Minimize bureaucratic interference. Overhaul the CDC and the Department of Health and Human Services. No more mandates. Freedom from restrictions.
Education
Right to School Choice so that children of all backgrounds have the opportunity to receive an excellent education. Empower parents to oversee the content of teaching materials absent of political indoctrination.[13]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Democrat Supremacy has caused catastrophic harm and decimated many urban communities, especially the poor, minorities and our most vulnerable citizens. If Black Lives Matter isn't just their slogan to get votes, then let's give black children trapped in failing schools free private education vouchers!

If Black Lives Matter isn't just their slogan to get votes, then let's give black children trapped in failing schools free private education vouchers! It's time for 28-year career Democrat Debbie Wasserman Shultz to take a knee, atone for her "politician-privilege", and finally retire. I will see to it.

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?
As a COVID-19 nurse, I had a patient call me with breathing issues. I could hear the fluid in his lungs, so I helped 911 to locate him. He was attended to by healthcare staff, which saved his life from congestive heart failure. He expressed very heartfelt gratitude to me. I will never forget this, and many others like him.
