In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a lifelong Marylander and a self‑employed professional in the mortgage and title industry assisting members of the community with mortgage transactions. I am a parent of two grown children, and my experiences as both a professional and a parent have shaped my decision to run for office. I am committed to supporting everyday families who are struggling with rising costs and to advocating for practical solutions that make Maryland a more affordable and stable place to live.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
My campaign is centered on easing the financial pressure families face. My goal is to work hard to support the community on these issues so families can afford stable housing, manage essential expenses, and build secure futures. I believe as a first‑time office seeker, I will bring a new perspective shaped by real‑world experience and a commitment to practical problem‑solving, not political games. As a lifelong Marylander who has lived the same financial realities as the community I’m running to serve, I understand the pressure that rising costs place on families. I know what it means to adjust, to stretch a budget, and to navigate the challenges of everyday life in difficult economic times.Ending division is not about erasing differences; it’s about refusing to let those differences be used to divide neighbors who ultimately want many of the same things. Many people feel overwhelmed by misinformation, false narratives, and the constant pressure to choose sides instead of choosing solutions. To move forward, we need to reject the cycle of propaganda and distrust that has taken hold and return to honest conversations grounded in facts. Ending the spread of false truths and stepping away from the politics of anger is essential if we want a government that works for everyone and a future built on stability, integrity, and common purpose. Working together and compromise is a necessity.I believe every person deserves the chance to live with dignity, stability, and hope. That means working toward accessible healthcare for all, fair wages that allow families to save after paying their bills. It means taking responsible steps to reduce gun violence so our children and communities can feel safe. It means respecting people’s differences instead of using them as tools for division or targeting. It means ensuring that the wealthiest individuals and corporations pay their fair share in taxes. I will, to the best of my ability, work on practical solutions and the well‑being of the people of Maryland.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Affordability is my top priority. I am also focused on wage stagnation, access to healthcare, mental health services, gun‑violence prevention, and strong school funding. All of these issues affect families in Maryland. They are central to the policies I believe must be addressed. Immigration policy also needs thoughtful, humane attention. While removing individuals who commit serious crimes is a legitimate part of any immigration system, broad sweeps that disrupt families and communities do not reflect the values our country stands for. Immigrants are not the enemy. Those who follow the lawful process deserve respect, and those who did not should still be treated with fairness, due process, and humanity as our nation works toward solutions.
