Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Caleb Price is running for Ohio State Representative on the Westside of Cincinnati because he believes that every single Westsider deserves affordability, transparency, and a representative with common sense. As a born and raised Cincinnatian, union member, and graduate of Cincinnati Public Schools, Caleb understands what families in his community need — including fairly funded public schools, affordable health care, housing, and safety from gun violence. Caleb believes in fighting for the every day Ohioan on issues that matter from ending fraud, waste, and abuse in state government to making the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes. Caleb is ready to fight for affordable child care, union jobs, and individual freedoms because that's what Ohioans deserve. He is ready to work on both sides of the aisle to pass meaningful legislation that helps all Ohioans, not just a select few. Caleb is ready to get dark money and corporations out of politics because he believes that politics should be about the issues, not about millionaires who can buy elections. This is why Caleb is running on being pro-family, pro-worker, and pro-Ohio first! As a barista, Caleb understands what it means to work hard and how to serve people. As a member of Gen Z, Caleb understands new issues that have come up such as expensive housing, student debt, and gun violence and is ready to bring a fresh perspective on how to tackle these issues. Please consider Caleb because he is the right PRICE for you!
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Caleb understands that Ohio's middle and working classes are struggling. We are living in an affordability crisis that have caused groceries, electricity bills, housing, and healthcare costs to skyrocket. Caleb is ready to fight for a universal, single-payer healthcare system that any Ohio resident can opt in to. He is ready to fight for affordable housing, to protect SNAP/Medicaid benefits, to take on corporations for price gouging every day Ohioans, and is ready to invest in clean energy for Ohio's future. Property tax relief is a must here in Ohio, while he does not believe in abolishing property taxes, relief is needed on Ohio's middle class and seniors. He is ready to fight to make the AMERICAN DREAM attainable again.Public schools are the backbones of our community here in Ohio. This is why Caleb believes in fighting to fairly fund Ohio's public schools through the bipartisan Fair School Funding Plan, which has been mandated by Ohio's Republican run Supreme Court three separate times. This current state legislature has cut funding to districts all over the state, including here in District 30 for Oak Hills Local Schools. Public schools are racking up deficits and soon enough, if the state does not increase its share of funding districts, these schools will have to shut down. Caleb is ready to revise how Ohio funds its public schools which will also help lower the property tax burden on the middle class.Job creation and public infrastructure projects are key ways that Caleb sees growth for Ohio's economy. By investing in clean energy (nuclear, wind, water), expanding public transportation (Amtrak's 3C+D project), investing in small businesses on the Westside, and bringing manufacturing back to the Buckeye State, we can grow Ohio's economy and keep young people in our state which will help grow our tax base without raising taxes on the middle class. Helping individuals in low income communities find meaningful work, will help all Ohioans get their needs met which will lead to a decrease in crime, improvement in public health, and help grow Ohio's economy once again.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Caleb is passionate about public transportation, affordable college, affordable healthcare, affordable housing, common sense gun reform, climate change initiatives, protecting voting rights, and is pro-family, pro-worker, and pro-Ohio first!

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a born and raised Westsider from Cincinnati, looking to bring back transparency, humility, and common sense to the State House. I stand to protect the rights of every Westsider no matter party affiliation and to fight for affordability, safety, democracy, and freedom. I am ready to work on common sense gun reform, making groceries affordable again, lowering property taxes on Ohio’s middle class, and properly funding our public schools. I want to grow clean energy, invest in small businesses, and expand public transportation in our state. It’s time that a real, working class Westsider represents the best interests of the people and not the pockets of billionaires and lobbyists. It’s time to put partisan politics aside and work to build a stronger Westside!
