Paige's website included a plan to reduce taxes and reliance on federal funds while establishing a state bank and emergency warrants to make up for revenue shortfall. It also stated that he considers single payer healthcare an intrusion of privacy, supports tort reform to reduce frivolous malpractice lawsuits, and wants to replace the state's healthcare exchange with an open marketplace under the purview of the state's Insurance Department.
Paige's website also expressed support for green energy expansion but elimination of industrial wind turbines, government transparency and greater ethics regulation, elimination of the Common Core and increased local control for public schools, legalization of marijuana, and establishing uniform criminal sentences.[12]
