Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Brittany Erickson is a business owner, mother, advocate and a life-long resident of Washington County. She graduated from Kirkwood with an A.A. and a Pharmacy Diploma. She attended the University of Iowa as a student majoring in Creative Writing and worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician until 2019. Brittany spends her days managing her small business and spending time with her family.

Iowans deserve clean water, answers to the cancer crisis, and accesible, low cost healthcare.Iowa’s minimum wage has been $7.25 since 2008. I promise to fight for higher wages for Iowans.Iowa will be number one in education again by supporting public schools.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Clean water, healthcare, education, daycare, SNAP, disability equality, civil rights, preventing domestic violence, raising wages, affordable housing, protecting small farmers, food diversity, mental health resources.
