In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m a life-time Oregon resident and Forest Grove community member, with a career spanning the private sector, public service, and nonprofit leadership. I began at Intel, working in global operations and complex project implementation, and later transitioned into community-focused work centered on housing, economic development, and public safety.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked closely with local governments, service providers, and community organizations to administer public investments and develop programs that support stability and resilience—particularly during the pandemic, when our local taskforce directed more than $14 million into housing and essential services.
My work has consistently required fiscal discipline, cross-sector coordination, and a focus on outcomes. I tend to approach challenges by aligning people, resources, and systems so that policies are not just well-intended, but structured to work in practice.
I’m running for State Representative to bring that implementation-focused experience to the state level and help ensure that policies translate into real results for communities like ours.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Experience that delivers results
My experience comes from implementing policy—not just shaping it. I’ve worked across public service, business, and nonprofit sectors to administer funding, coordinate partners, and deliver outcomes in housing, economic development, and public safety. I understand how decisions made at the state level translate into real-world conditions for communities, and I focus on making systems work in practice.Accountability and fiscal discipline
I approach government with a clear expectation: public resources should be used carefully and produce measurable results. That means transparency, oversight, and a willingness to adjust when programs aren’t working. My focus is not on expanding or reducing government for its own sake, but on ensuring it operates effectively and responsibly.Leadership that builds and prepares others
I believe leadership includes building systems that outlast any one individual—aligning people, documenting processes, and creating pathways for others to step in and lead. My work has consistently involved bringing together different perspectives, fostering collaboration, and preparing the next generation to meet emerging challenges.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I’m most engaged in public policy areas where outcomes depend on coordination and execution: housing stability, economic development, public safety, and education. These are interconnected systems that shape whether communities can remain stable and resilient. I’m particularly focused on how public investments are administered—ensuring resources reach the people they’re intended to serve and produce measurable results over time.
