I am a retired law enforcement officer and former small business owner.

Ohio public school funding needs to be protected and funded by the Fair School Funding Plan.Mom and pop stores have to have the ability to buy from their vendors at a closer price that the vendor provides to the bigger stores.Medicare and medicaid funding has to be protected
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Public education funding, expanding collective bargaining and protecting the exsisting collective bargaining providers.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
Ohio Federation of Teachers, AFSCME Ohio Council 8.

I am a former law enforcement, and corrections officer. I also ran a small business for 14 years. I have coached basketball, volleyball, track and field and soccer for the last 15 years.
I have been married to, my wife of 31 years, Lori Deer and together we have two daughters. Kylie Deer is our oldest who graduated from Muskingum University in 2024 and now is employed at Ohio Valley Bank as an assistant operations management manager. Peyton Deer is the youngest. She is going to be a sophmore at Morehead University the 2026-2027 school year.

Protecting public school funding for all public schools it's students and employess of the public school.Protecting small business owners and help them keep their business if such help is needed.Senior care is declining and I want to make sure our seniors are treated with the reverence and dignity they deserve and earned.

Funding public schools.
