Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am, a Wyoming native, was raised on a farm in Eastern Laramie County and graduated from Burns High School. I graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Agriculture and studied Economic Development Planning in graduate school at the University of Nebraska before graduating from law school at the College of William & Mary in Virginia.
I returned home to Wyoming in 2013 with my wife, Iryna, and children where I maintains a private law practice dedicated to helping people who are in financial distress file for bankruptcy protection and relief. I also work on a portion of his family’s farm north of Hillsdale, Wyoming raising dryland wheat.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Jobs & Economic Development: People need jobs to support themselves, their families, and to enjoy the best Wyoming has to offer. I seek economic growth and diversification and I am running to work toward a Wyoming that offers more job and career opportunities to future generations than were available to me when I graduated from Wyoming’s schools and entered the workforce.Education: Education is an economic issue. More and better options for education and job training are necessary for Wyoming to experience improved living standards and job opportunities. I support, not only the traditional public schools, but also expanding school choice options for elementary, secondary, post-secondary, a technical and trade schools.Health care access is an essential component of a quality standard of living. However, some regions in Wyoming are experiencing diminishing access to healthcare. This trend needs to reverse in order for people and communities across Wyoming to thrive and prosper.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Economic development, property rights, education, and family.
