In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I'm a Valdosta native and community advocate. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice. After graduation, I began working across Georgia to expand voting access and strengthen civic engagement among young people. I've also organized efforts to involve more men in protecting reproductive freedom and supporting mothers, particularly in rural communities. I serve in leadership with the Young Democrats of America as the Southern Vice President where I support the work of our state chapters from Texas to Georgia and from Puerto Rico to Kentucky. I've also worked at the Georgia State Capitol since 2024 advancing policy solutions on issues like education and economic opportunity as Chief of Staff to Georgia State Senator RaShaun Kemp.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Our campaign is focused on delivering real solutions for real people by cutting through the noise of partisanship and focusing on the issues that matter. The point of this campaign is not to be the most "Democrat" candidate, the point is to build a community coalition to bring much needed support to our community. This campaign is about delivering real solutions that address the affordability crisis by bringing down the costs of groceries, housing, and healthcare. We are focused on opening doors of opportunity for our community by reforming our education system and helping young farmers and business owners get their start. We are also focused on building up our community by bringing much needed investments in infrastructure, childcare, and our veterans. There is potential in this seat to be a force in rural Georgia. Valdosta is a rural metropolis that attracts economic development. We need individuals to bring new ideas to support that growth so that we find creative and long-lasting solutions to support growth. Whether that's through investment tools offered by the state or through policy reform that encourages responsible and accountable growth.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I've always been passionate about education, infrastructure, voting, and reproductive freedom. Each of these policy areas have had some impact on my life, whether that's my daily work in voting and reproductive freedom, or my passion for making sure our community has good roads and good schools, I've always been passionate about these issues.
