In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’ve been active in Democratic politics for over a decade, and have served one term in the NH legislature. I’m running a campaign to give people an opportunity to prove to ourselves that people are the only power behind any elective office.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
All power comes from the people and only the people should be valued by our government. It is our voice and vote that determine who serves, and not money. By running a campaign without money, it allows people to prove that it’s only the people that matter. By winning one election for higher office without any money attached to the campaign, we can prove only the people matter in politics and so only people should be valued by our government. If we prove in November that it is only the people that win elections, we empower 350 million Americans and we force our elected officials to respect our needs. In a few short months, one election can completely change how our society operates going forward. Our social ills are by and large because our elected officials choose to protect a few people’s wealth instead of protecting our communities. We lack the resources we need to address all our issues and concerns because of the over valuing of wealth. Our societies wealth exists to serve the needs of all and not just the few. By proving the people are the only ones that determine who gets elected, we empower every single American and get them to understand we have every right to demand our government value the people and only the people again. You have all the power you need to change the world and have 100% control over it. We need to be a society that has a government that values people and only people again. The social and economic progress we had in the last century came about because our elected officials valued the people and we have spent the last half century losing all of that progress because we have allowed our politicians to treat wealth as an equal partner rather than making it serve the needs of the people as wealth is supposed to do.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
If I’m passionate about anything it’s trying to get people to see our problems aren’t that difficult to solve. We need to value people instead of wealth again; if we do that we will change our world.
