Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a retired public school counselor, former president of my local teachers' association, and former school board member. I live in Sun City (Bluffton). I grew up in NY and worked in Iowa.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I believe in the good of all people and doing good for all people. I was raised on strong values of faith, love and service. I am a strong advocate for civil right protections.I am an advocate of public education and the need to recruit and retain quality teachers.Community resources must be affordable and accessible, communities must feel safe, and seniors, veterans and working families must be able to feel they can afford to live and/or retire here.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Education and civil rights.
