Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Benjamin Sandlin is a student activist, and a preschool teacher. He was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, and was brought up by Florida's public education system. He was inspired to run for office by his disappointment by the current state government's gutting of the states education system resulting in some of the finest educators in the country fleeing the state as far as the eye could see. Along with rising housing costs, healthcare being ripped out of the hands of Floridians, and constant attacks on the LGBTQ community, Sandlin decided he couldn't sit back and watch it anymore and needed to take action.
