Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am rooted in the urban core of Kansas City and I was raised in the rural area of SW Missouri. Despite different settings and perspectives, urban and rural Missourians share the same core goals: opportunity, stability, and a better future for their families. I have family and friends across both communities and I’ve seen how deeply we rely on one another.
As the Americas Resource Manager for a global Architecture firm, I am responsible for staffing over 600 employees across America. I align their skills and experience with a project needs. I worked on the production side for over 18 years so I understand team dynamics and how to address conflict when it arises. My favorite part is aligning hopes & dreams; understanding an individual’s career goals, helping them navigate work life balance and then taking a team from something very small and building it up to be quite successful.
I understand our issues are complex and solutions cannot be one-size-fits all. I know how to bring experts together that will provide solution-focused plans for both Urban and Rural communities to thrive together.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Economic Growth: I support developing a Missouri biotech manufacturing triangle anchored in District 4 and expanding across the state’s remaining congressional districts. This initiative would strengthen regional economies by partnering with Missouri universities and trade schools to build a skilled workforce pipeline. Through employer-sponsored training programs, workers can be prepared for high-paying biotech manufacturing jobs within 18–24 months, ensuring Missouri leads in innovation, job creation, and long-term economic growth.Infrastructure Investment: Access to quality childcare, healthcare, public education, food security, transportation, and housing should not depend on zip code. I support aligning infrastructure funding streams, expanding flexible rural and urban grants, and incentivizing public-private partnerships that combine housing with essential services. These investments should also be tied to workforce development so local workers can train for and fill the jobs these projects create. By integrating planning across transportation, housing, and core services, we can build more efficient, connected communities and ensure every Missourian has access to the basics needed to thrive.Social Security: With the combined trust funds projected to be depleted by 2034, I support reforms that ensure long-term solvency without reducing benefits. This includes lifting the wage cap, currently set at $184,500, while modestly reducing the payroll tax rate from 12.4% to 11.6% to protect or slightly increase take-home pay for most workers. This approach would strengthen the system and help avoid significant benefit cuts.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
No single policy succeeds in isolation, which is why federal investment should be designed to work across these systems together rather than in silos. I know how to assemble teams of experts to provide practical, solution focused ideas to grow our economy, invest in infrastructure & protect human rights for all.
