I’m Archie Thomas a native Montanan, 40 year+ Hamilton businessman running as a RINO-CRAT filed as a Democrat asking for your vote for Hamilton Montana State House of Representatives District 86.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

There are many reasons, but my priorities are to address Montana’s unaffordable housing, healthcare system and unfair tax system. In addition a return to normal governance. I’m fiscally conservative, socially responsible and frankly a disgruntled Republican that believes the GOP party as I was raised no longer exists.Filing as a Democrat does not make me a Democrat —it reflects the reality of where I can stand, speak honestly, reach across the aisle, compromise and connect to the people of Hamilton.

I’m running as a RINO-CRAT because thoughtful Republican and Democrat neighbors want a competent choice for the Hamilton community rather than party disfunction.I learned to navigate1970’s-80’s double‑digit inflation plus multiple recessions, including the 2008 mortage crisis. I have the advantage of having lived through where Montana has been and have a unique appreciation for current economic growth—growth that should enable the average Hamiltonian to afford a home, healthcare, educate their children, retire and still have time and money to enjoy Montana. There is a lack of tax fairness between the top earners, corporate interests and the rest of us.

The key is separating culture‑war divisions manufactured by billionaires through campaign contributions to allow them to keep the wheat, while they convince working Montanans to keep fighting over the chaff.
