In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I'm a Minnesotan - not a politician. My family homesteads in the 8th District; we hunt our own meat, grow our own food, and juggle our last dollars every month like most families here do. I carry a pistol daily, I believe in this country, and I got into this race because I got tired of waiting for someone else to fix what's broken in Washington. Our Founding Fathers designed this system for citizen legislators - people with real skin in the game, not career politicians. That's who I am, and that's who I intend to be in Congress.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Washington isn't broken - it's corrupt. There's a difference. Broken things can be fixed by accident. Corrupt things are working exactly as designed - just not for you. Lobbyists write the laws. Members trade stocks on inside information. The government shuts down and the only people who don't feel it are the ones who caused it. I'm running to end that. Get the corruption out, and every other problem this district faces has a fighting chance of actually getting solved.I'm running on five specific commitments: Term limits - three House terms, two Senate terms. End lobbying corruption and foreign influence in our laws. Ban congressional stock trading. Financial penalties for every government shutdown and unbalanced budget - members of Congress should feel the pain they cause. And mandatory attendance accountability - you show up and do the job, or you don't get paid. Same rules the rest of America lives by.I am not more qualified than any other citizen - and that's the point. Our Founding Fathers didn't build this system for career politicians; they built it for people like us. I'm a working Minnesotan who feels the cost of inflation, the broken healthcare system, and the weight of a government that stopped listening. I don't owe a PAC, a donor, or a party boss anything. My only obligation is to the people of the 8th District.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Congressional accountability and anti-corruption reform - including term limits, lobbying reform, and banning congressional stock trading. Fiscal responsibility and balanced budget enforcement. Domestic energy independence. Restoring the cost of living for working families. Strengthening border security. Protecting Second Amendment rights. Reforming healthcare access by removing the lobby money that protects the current broken system. Education pathways beyond four-year degrees, including trade schools.
