In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m a mom, wife, teacher, and community volunteer. I earned my bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from the University of Southern Maine. Since then, I’ve worked in both public and private schools, teaching English Language Arts and helping students develop the reading and writing skills they will carry theoughout thier lives.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Protect income and lower costs. I will fight to keep more money in your pocket by lowering energy costs and reining in excessive tax and regulatory burdens.Education Reform. As a teacher and mom, I know our children need a great education. I will fight for school choice, decrease administrative costs, and earlier access to trades and other careers.Free market healthcare. Let’s be honest, government healthcare is failing us. I will fight to release the free market to help save

maternity wards and attract health professionals back to the state.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Education is a core part of Maine’s culture, reflected in our local community schools and their self-governance. However, today we face challenges: standardized curricula pushed by lobbyists and external forces, and a disconnect between families and schools due to the influence of ideological viewpoints from school staff. We need meaningful reform—such as the literacy initiatives adopted by multiple states—that have already shown rapid improvement in student literacy rates. Maine should act now to embrace this proven reform. These are the real community results I will fight for as your state house representative.
