In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a retired Air Force Colonel and long time Hilton Head resident. I’ve dedicated my life to service - both in uniform and in my community. Over 28 years in the AIr Force and through many leadership roles, I’ve built a mission/people first approach grounded in accountability, integrity, and listening to people. I’m running to bring fresh ideas to House District 123 - focused on real solutions that work for everyone. I want to make sure that every voice is heard. You will always know where I stand and how decisions are being make for you.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Affordability: Retirees are struggling with healthcare costs that have doubled in the past year, single parents and working families are facing higher rent and mortgage payments along with child care costs. And we are all struggling with increased gas and grocery prices. We need workforce development and programs that connect people to good paying jobs here in South Carolina. Effective governing means addressing and solving these issues for constituents. I will hold regular community meetings and remain accessible to make sure your concerns are heard and acted upon.I believe in protecting the rights and freedoms that define who we are. As an Air Force Officer, I took an oath to the constitution and to protect our freedoms. That means defending democracy, ensuring free and fair elections and standing up for the constitutional rights of every citizen.Smart Growth and Protecting Our Community: Growth must be managed responsibly and I will work to protect the character of communities, invest in infrastructure and support policies that strengthen our local economy while preserving our environment and quality of life.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
