Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am an OB/GYN who has lived and worked in this district for the past 30 years.

I have been worried that our state has gone down the wrong path in regards to health care and increasing maternal and infant mortality, more abortion restrictions, less gun restrictions and marginalizing communities. Abortion restrictions hurt our economy by affecting a woman's ability to work and limiting her economic potential. Marginalizing people also hurts the economy as LGBTQ+ college graduates leave the state and do not stay here for jobs. The collateral damage of gun violence hurts everyone

Wonder Woman - She is a strong decisive woman and acts in the same way.

What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature?

It should be a balanced relationship where neither side is able to make decisions unilaterally.

What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?

One of the greatest challenges will be helping it go from a regressive gerrymandered state to a progressive state that values all of its people and is able to attract a diverse community of people.
